We love Sheffield here at The Modernist Society and we kind of get the feeling Sheffield loves us back.

But as with many love affairs it needs to be nurtured and worked at so with this in mind we are asking our Sheffield Modernists out on a date.

We would like to meet anyone from in or around Sheffield who would like to be a bit more active with the Sheffield group. We are looking for people who have good ideas about what sort of events they would like to see happening in Sheffield and we hope to gauge what level of interest there is from individuals and hopefully empower you to invigorate the Sheffield Modernist Society.

As well as any ‘doers’ we would also like to invite people to come along who perhaps don’t have the confidence or inclination to organise or run an event but would just like to meet fellow Modernists in Sheffield. This will be a very informal event - its not like we are signing you up a timeshare property in the Costa Blanca. Just come along and meet fellow Modernists and we’ll see where we end up.

We are meeting 6pm until 8pm on Thursday 29th August at Kollective The Site Gallery, 1 Brown Street S1 2BS
