Following a small grant from The Wisdom Factory, we initiated some contacts and collaborations responding to Birmingham's modernist and brutalist architecture.
'As some of Britain's most precious Brutalist buildings are being demolished, what better time to to take stock and plot Birmingham's twentieth century architecture on our map. As John Madin's Central Library nears its end, one by one, bit by bit, we aim to identify and mark Birmingham's key Modernist and Brutalist buildings.
