As we enter our 8th year of The Modernist magazine we are having a change of designer and a change of format. We say goodbye to long time collaborator Jonathan Hitchen and say hello to birthday + Rueville. We have also invited guest editors to take the reigns for the next 4 issues so that should add a new perspective to the content along with the new design format.
To celebrate the release of The Modernist 29 INVENTORY we are happy to be showing the documentary Brasilia - Life After Design This film sold out when it was recently shown at HOME in Manchester so we are giving you another chance to catch this lovely film , which follows the lives of some of the inhabitants of Brasilia and how living in a supposed Modernist utopia differs from living in any other city.
The INVENTORY launch and Brasilia - Life After Design film showing will be at WeWork, 1 St Peters Sq, M2 3DE on Thursday 6th December 6 until 8pm.
